Congratulations to the four recipients the 2009 Boit Award: BFA candidates Creighton Baxter and Sofya Belinskya and MFA candidates Shen Shen Luo and Cobi Moules. The Boit Award is given for work created independently over the summer in any media.
The winning works---Baxter's mixed media works Generations and I Made You a Structure, Belinskya's Untitled drawing, Luo's animated video Old City and Moules' Untitled drawing---will be exhibited in the "Student Annual Exhibition" February 10-March 3, 2010.
This year's juror was Ellen Wetmore, Museum School alumna (MFA, 00) a multidisciplinary artist, educator and designer. She currently has a solo show, "The Joys of Motherhood," on view at the Boston Sculptors Gallery.
