Ellsworth Kelly, Diploma, 1948
. A painter whose three-dimensional work influenced the evolution of 20th-century sculpture, Kelly has been recognized in numerous retrospective exhibitions. He has had major exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Tate Gallery, London; and the Haus der Kunst, Munich.
