Facilities & Resources
|
|
|
| With two buildings, a residence
hall, and 15 areas of
study, SMFA offers a wide range of
equipment
and resources designed to support
research, as well
as studio
practice.
Some
highlights:

 |
The
Weems Center, or Atrium,
houses Café
des Arts and the community
gathering area, and is also a popular
spot for exhibitions and
performances. Behind the Atrium, in
the courtyard
between two of our
classroom and studio
buildings, is a plaster-casting studio.
It has a
flat roof
suitable for work in fabrication. |

The
Mission
Hill
building recently has been renovated and
includes studio spaces for graduate and Post-Baccalaureate
students as
well as classrooms, workshops, the Writing Center,

include the Grossman Gallery (1,720 square feet), the
Anderson

For most of the
semester, students have 24–hour access to most
studio
spaces and facilities.
Limited studio space is
available in the summer
months. |

Printing
Technologies:
The Museum
School maintains laser,
thermal-wax, and
large-format inkjet printers; a Heidelberg GTO offset press; and

bookbinding. |
