Overnight Access

• An overnight constitutes working in an area after the stockroom is closed. For example, if the stockroom closes at 6:30 pm and you are staying until 10 pm, you will need to follow the same overnight procedure as though you were staying all night.

• Overnights are only an option for students who have been approved by faculty from the department in which they wish to work. Continuing Education students do not have overnight access.

• Overnight request forms must be submitted 24 hours in advance.

• “Exceptional Access Permit Sheets” (overnight request forms) are available from Student Affairs. These must be signed first by a faculty member, second by a stockroom manager, and third by Student Affairs.

• For safety reasons, no student will be allowed to work alone in the photo area. At least two students must be working in one night. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate loss of privileges of the area being used.
