To be considered for financial aid
from any of the federal, state, or institutional financial aid programs, an
applicant must meet all the applicable criteria listed below:
- Be
enrolled for admission as a regular student in an eligible program of study
-
Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Not be in default on
a federal education loan or owe a refund to a federal grant
- Be a U.S.
citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Register with Selective Service (if
required)
- Work toward a degree, Diploma, or certificate
- Have
“financial need” as determined by completing the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Enroll in at least six credit hours

If you meet the above criteria you may apply for
financial aid annually (recommended filing in January), whether or not aid was
offered in your initial year at the Museum School. The Office of Financial Aid
will make every effort to meet the financial need of students who wish to
enroll. In some cases, however, we may be prevented by limited funding. If this
happens, we strongly urge you and your family to contact us so that
we may work together to investigate all options. Remember that the priority
deadline for financial aid is March 15.
