About:
Aron Fischer, lawyer, will give a conversational presentation on intellectual property, fair use, and copyright with reference to the recent Jeff Koons' case ruling in favor of the artist.

Fischer is an assistant attorney general for the state of New York whose legal interests and experiences include employment and labor law, intellectual property, and the First Amendment. Aron was previously employed as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City, the court that decided the Jeff Koons fair use cases. He received his law degree from Yale and lives in Brooklyn.
