In this workshop, you will acquire skills in numerous disciplines, gain self-confidence around your own creative process, and strengthen your portfolio at the same time. At the first session, admissions professionals and faculty members will meet one-on-one with you to organize your existing work and define areas in which you should bolster your portfolio and create more artwork. Over the next twelve weeks, you will concentrate on each of the following areas: 2-D (drawing and painting), 3-D (sculpture), and digital media (video and digital photography). You will spend four sessions on each area. Through challenging studio assignments and discussions you will advance your technical skills while experiencing the intersection of disciplines as part of the art-making process.
