This course is packed with essentials for the beginner jewelry artist. The basics and more will be demonstrated in this hands-on class. The essentials of sawing, piercing, texturing, polishing, silver soldering, cabochon stone setting, cuttle bone casting, and riveting will be covered. You will make a ring, set a stone in silver, chase patterns into metal, laminate sheet onto sheet, gravity pour cast, and cold fasten metal together. You also will be encouraged to design and make your own piece.
