Students
are urged to get a Tufts ID when taking courses on the Tufts campus. It
makes life as a BFA student much easier! A Tufts ID is required to open a
computer account, to borrow materials from the Tufts Library, and to use
athletic facilities. To get a Tufts ID, go to the Campus Police (located on the
first floor of Dowling Hall) weekdays from 8:30
am–12
pm
and from 1–3:30
pm. A valid Museum School ID must be shown, and your photo will be taken. No fee will be
charged and the process will take approximately ten minutes.
If
you suspect your Tufts ID has been lost or stolen, please contact
the Tufts University Police (617-627-3030)
as soon as possible to deactivate your card. After this, your lost ID card may
no longer be used in University Dining Halls, to purchase items on points, or to
gain access to buildings. To replace your card, report to the Campus Police at
Dowling Hall to have a new photo ID card printed and activated. Please note that
there may be a replacement fee for lost University IDs. This process typically
takes five minutes.
