"Shifting
Perspectives: Esteban Pastorino Díaz," on
view in the Grossman Gallery, August 29–October
13, 2008, is Argentine photographer Pastorino's
largest one-person show in the United
States to date.
The exhibition features more than 70 of Pastorino's recent photographs—including
prints, lightboxes, and a slide projection—created with the cameras he designs
and builds himself. From his Kite Aerial Photography series to sprawling 3-D
panoramics, Pastorino challenges our notions about perspective, motion, and
space within our world.
