Alumni Work Selected for Permanent Display in MBTA Station
May 21, 2008

Congratulations to Laurinda T. Bedingfield (GD, '04) and Ryan Klemek (BFE '98) whose work is part of a permanent installation of community-focused art in the Davis Square Station.

The MBTA, the City of Somerville (MA), and Tufts University collaborated on a revitalization project for the interior of the Red Line's Davis Square Station. A call went out to Davis Square-area artists last summer for work reflective of the spirit and vibrancy of Somerville. Nine images were selected from over 200 submissions and reproduced onto porcelain enamel panels, which were officially unveiled earlier this month.
