		Chisels and Chainsaws February 20, 2007   "Chisels and Chainsaws," an annual ice sculpting event, was held Monday, February 19 at the SMFA. Three teams of students from the SMFA, one team from Massachusetts College of Art, and one team from Boston Architectural Center transformed 600-pound blocks of ice into stunning sculptural creations with chainsaws, chisels, and blowtorches. Visitors voted for their favorite sculpture, and winners included a fish, a monkey, and gummy bears.
