SMFA Video and Crosscurrents faculty member Mary Ellen Strom presents new work in Future Memory, a solo exhibition on view at the judi rotenberg gallery from July 2–29.

Future Memory includes a new collection of video projections that continue Strom’s desire to represent the human body, its role in art history, and its relationship to the viewer. Strom restages master paintings and modern photographic images, working with contemporary women artists living in the Boston area, including: Sheila Gallagher (MFA ‘96), Taylor Davis, Marley Tomic-Beard, and Ann Carlson.

Related events include an opening reception with the artist on Thursday, July 6, from 6–8 pm, and an artist talk on Saturday, July 8, at 2 pm. For more information, visit www.judirotenberg.com.
