The Foundation's Emerging
Artists program honors individuals at an early stage in their careers, and to whom it
can "make a difference," through the combination of financial support,
recognition, and endorsement. Nominations are accepted from professionals in
Boston's cultural community and recipients are selected by
multiple juries. This year 17 artists in the fields of music, literature, and v
isual arts will each receive a $2,500 grant to help pursue current
projects.
