The Exhibitions Office is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2007 Traveling Scholarship Awards:

Warner (MFA '04) John Osorio-Buck (BFA '03) Jurors for the student awards were Leonie Bradbury, director of the Montserrat College of Art Gallery; Mary Sherman, artist, director of TransCultural
Exchange; and Bernard Toale of the Bernard Toale Gallery. Jurors for the alumni awards, selecting from 154 submissions, were Laura Donaldson, director of the Mills Gallery, BCA; Stacey McCarroll Cutshaw, director of the Boston University Art Gallery; and Lisa Tung, interim director of exhibitions at Mass. College of Art.
Traveling Scholarships are awarded annually to Museum School alumni and students from the Fifth Year program, based on juried competitions. Awards consist of scholarship funds to be spent on travel for the development of individual artistic goals and study, and an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). The "Traveling Scholars 2007" exhibition will open at the MFA in early spring 2009.
