| Biography |
| Erica H. Adams (painting) received a BFA and a MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University ('77, '87), and a Diploma and a Fifth Year Certificate from the Museum School ('77, '79). Adams writes for Fjoezzz, a Dutch arts quarterly and for Berkshire Fine Arts internet journal. From 1997-2006, as contributing editor of "This Side Up!" quarterly, the Netherlands, Erica wrote a column on the arts.
Exhibitions of digital works, photographs, paintings, sculptures, large scale collage, numerous Web sites, and a virtual reality installation include: Boston CyberArts Festival; Independent Curators International, New York; Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Los Angeles; and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. In 2006, Adams curated "Residue, Reflections on Aging and Mortality?" at Gallery AA/B (Art Advisory/Boston). Twice a visiting artist at the Chiapas Photography Project in Mexico (2000 + 2004) Adams was in-residency at the Fourth International Workshop in Ryn, Poland (2000). Her catalogs include Acceptable Entertainment (ICI, New York) and Boston Now: Photography (ICA, Boston). Work by Adams is in public and private collections including The Polaroid Collection and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
