Biography
Judy Kermis Blotnick’s (crosscurrents) recent work consists of drawings and paintings influenced by her many years working in the fashion industry. She received a BFA from Pratt Institute (’69) and a Diploma and a Fifth Year Certificate from the Museum School (’01 and ’02), where she was a recipient of the ninety-first Ruth A. Sturdivant Traveling Scholarship Award. Her work has been included in exhibitions in Boston at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Allston Skirt Gallery; Judy Ann Goldman Fine Art; and the Drawing Project at the Bernard Toale Gallery. Her work also was included in the 2004 edition of New American Paintings and she was a 2004 Massachusetts Cultural Council award finalist.
