| Biography |
| Patrick Carter (painting, drawing, high school workshops) has been teaching drawing and painting courses at the Museum School and Tufts University for many years. He received a BA from Fairmount State College (’71) and an MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University (’87). His recent shows include a solo show titled “Changing Views: Portraits Past and Present,” New Art Center, Newton, Mass.; “Hopper Revisited,” Truro Historical Society, Truro, Mass.; and “Contemporary Portraits,” Art Works Gallery, Hartford, Conn. He was awarded first prize on works exhibited at the Creative Workshop Gallery, New Haven, Conn.; Mills Gallery, Boston; and Watercolor Art Society, “National Exhibition,” Houston, Tex. He was awarded third prize on work exhibited in Washington, D.C., Delaware, Philadelphia, Maryland, and West Virginia. |
