| Ceramics. MFA, Museum School/Tufts University ('80); BS, Indiana University ('72). Recent exhibitions include Wellesley College's Davis Museum, Wellesley, MA; Newhouse Center Gallery at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, New York; Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, MA; and Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria, New York. Cooper has been awarded numerous grants, including Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant Finalist for Works on Paper ('00); Open Society Institute Community Initiative Grant, Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge, MA ('99); Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant in Sculpture ('99); and International Child Art Foundation Millenium Project ('99). |
