| Biography |
| Greg Mencoff (drawing, Studio at Tufts) earned a Fifth Year Certificate from the Museum School ('83), and a BFA from Museum School/Tufts University ('81). Mencoff has accumulated many years of teaching experience at the Museum School, beginning in 1984. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at Bernard Toale Gallery, Boston, MA (’06, '05, '03), and select group shows at Tufts University (’07); Boston Sculptors Gallery, Boston, MA ('06); Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg, MA ('06); Lillian Immig Gallery, Emmanuel College, Boston, MA ('06); Green Street Gallery, Boston, MA ('05); Bernard Toale Gallery, Boston, MA ('04); and Attleboro Museum, Attleboro, MA ('03). Awards include the Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant for Sculpture ('05); American Association of Independent Curators Boston Awards-2nd / Best Gallery Show of an Emerging Artist ('05,'04); Fifth Year Traveling Scholarship, and Elizabeth Hunt Award ('83). Mencoff is the former director/curator of bf Annex Gallery, Boston and former owner and operator of Boston Frame. |
