| Biography |
| Performance. BS in theatre, Frostburg State University. Masters in Theatre Arts candidate, Syracuse University. A performance artist and teacher, Novotny-Jones has been a member of Boston's Mobius Artists Group since 1980. She has participated in numerous international projects in Eastern Europe and performed at the City Center Gallery in Skopje, Macedonia. Novotny-Jones is a recipient of a 2000 Tanne Foundation Artist Award for excellence in the art, an Emerging Artist/ Humanitarian Fellowship from the Boston Cultural Council ('01), and a Boston Cultural Council Grant for "Millennium Labyrinth," a series of interactive performances in the Boston subway system. |
