| Biography |
| Judith Richland (graphic design) is a faculty member in the Communications Department at Simmons College, where she engages students in the fundamentals of design, digital photography, video, the Web, and print design as they review the history of communications technology. She previously taught courses at the Museum School, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Bridgewater State College. Richland earned a BS in Psychology from Cornell University (’71), an MA in Art History from Boston University (’75), and MFAs in Printmaking and New Media from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (’78, ’03). She is the president of Richland Design Associates, a company she founded in 1981, and has published in American Corporate Identity. She was the first woman president of the Boston chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Artists. |
