Graduate Teaching Opportunities

Teaching assistantships in studio art courses are available to third year and recently graduated MFA students. Second and third year MFA students prepare to teach as Graduate Teaching Assistants, working closely with faculty to develop the skills they will need as Graduate and Post-Graduate Teaching Fellows. Graduate and post-graduate teaching fellowships provide opportunities for qualified MFA students to teach a course offered in the curriculum or offer their own course during the fall and spring semesters.

Graduate Teaching Assistantships
Museum School Teaching Assistantships are available to MFA students with priority given to students in Year Two, thereafter in Year Three based on the availability of the Assistantships.

Graduate Teaching Fellowships
Graduate Teaching Fellows instruct studio courses at the Museum School.

Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowships
Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowships are awarded through a competitive application process. Graduates are eligible the year following completion of the MFA degree. Post-Graduate Teaching Fellows instruct studio courses at the Museum School.
