The Museum School offers the following programs suited to high school students:

High School Workshops

High School Workshops are held on Saturdays in the fall and spring and focus on teaching you technical skills and introducing you to new forms of artmaking.

High school students with various levels of experience.

Some students apply to Pre-College Summer Studio, while others take classes (with a recommendation from their art teacher) through Continuing Education.
Pre-College Summer Studio The five-week Pre-College Summer Studio is a unique and rigorous program in which you will explore painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, video, digital photography, as well as sound art and performance, so that you may take your artmaking to the next level. High school students who have completed their sophomore year. After completing Pre-College Summer Studio, many students apply to an art school or art program at a college or university.
Continuing Education Continuing Education offers art classes and workshops in the evenings and on weekends, as well as certificate programs in graphic design or illustration. Adults of all experience levels, including:
  • Individuals who enjoy being around art
  • Individuals who work in an arts-related field
  • Individuals considering a career change
  • Artists interested in advancing their practice or exploring new media

Many Continuing Education students intensify their study through the Studio program. Credits earned in Continuing Education may be applied toward the Studio program.
