Artist’s Resource Center (ARC) is a unique resource offering

job links, internships,
professional-focus
courses, and
community-partnership
opportunities
through
the Institute for Art and
Civic
Engagement. What’s more, the ARC is available to you
even
after you

Internships for Studio Credit The
ARC
lists a wide range of
internship opportunities in many professional areas, ranging from arts
administration to new media and technology. The ARC offers extensive
preparation, support and guidance throughout your
internship.

Dynamic
Courses The ARC offers
for-credit courses that focus on the most current professional practices in both
the public and private realm. Recent course offerings include

Practices for Visual Artists,
Survival and Business Skills for Artists, and Internships. |

Partnerships The
Institute for Art and Civic Engagement (IACE) provides you with the resources
and support to engage in artistic projects, internships, and other initiatives

Reference Materials ARC houses a wealth of information pertaining to all aspects of the professional
artist’s career. The ARC’s literature racks abound with handouts, web
directories, and in-house publications. In addition, when you set up a career
advising appointment with an ARC staff member we can work together
to access our virtual library, a collection of hundreds of bookmarked web
sites pertaining to career development, opportunities, critical needs, open
studios, arts advocacy and general research. |
