| Mission
Statement |
The mission of the W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library is to support the
curriculum, research, and creative exploration of students, faculty, and staff
of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. With more
than 21,000 volumes concentrating on all aspects of twentieth century art,
the W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library functions as the core circulating library for
the Museum School and as the Museum's contemporary art library.

| Library Circulation Policy |
Within the Museum community, the
School library circulates to
students, staff, alumni, and faculty of the school
and to the staff and
curators of the Museum. Additionally, members of Fenway Libraries Online
(FLO) and Fenway Libraries Consortium (FLC) have borrowing
privileges
at the School library. The reference collection, rare books, and
some artists' books are non-circulating.
