Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
This four-year interdisciplinary studio art degree combines an intensive studio arts training with a rigorous liberal arts education. Our flexible curriculum invites students to experiment with and explore various media as a means of bringing shape to their ideas.
Combined Degree Program (BFA + BA/BS)
This five-year program is specifically designed for students intending to pursue their art and academic interests to the fullest possible extent. Upon completion of this program, students graduate with two degrees from Tufts: a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
For artists at the graduate level who want to advance and deepen skills across and between diverse media and disciplines.
Master of Arts in Teaching, Art Education (MAT)
For educators and artists who want to teach in PK-12 schools, after-school programs, or museums.
A one-year program of intensive art study for students who are considering an MFA or artist residency.

Studio Diploma Certificate
This two and a half year certificate program is for a non-traditional student looking to immerse him/herself in a studio practice. In addition to an intensive yet flexible curriculum, students learn how to navigate the professional art world and how to manage the business aspects of an independent art practice.

MFA in Studio Art with Northeastern University
Prospective students should apply through Northeastern’s online application portal.
Art + Design applicants are required to submit their portfolio via Slideroom, an online portfolio submission service.
