Co-curated by students Chelsea Coon and Stephen St. Francis Decky this exhibition presents work by five Museum School artists whose highly distinct visions suggest the unlimited potential for new life forms and tap into our long history of invented beings. Sofya Belinskaya, Amanda Bonaiuto, Chelsea Coon, Stephen St. Francis Decky and Cara Mayo.

May 22 - Commencement

All Day

We are pleased to announce that Commencement ceremonies will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 6–7:30 pm in the Shapiro Courtyard of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. A reception for graduating students and their guests will be held at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts on Saturday, May 21 from 5–7 pm.

Each graduating student is entitled to 5 tickets to Commencement (4 guest tickets plus one for yourself) and an unlimited number of announcements. Tickets and announcement cards are available in the President's office beginning in mid-April. In addition to the tickets, you will need to pick up a "marching card" which you must bring with you to the ceremony. Please note that guests and graduates must show their tickets in order to be admitted to the ceremony. Tickets are not required for the reception on May 21.

The "Graduating Students Exhibition" is open to all graduating students who are not participating in "Senior Projects." ("Senior Projects" will be on view at the same time as the "Graduating Students Exhibition.") The "Graduating Students Exhibition" will be on view in Grossman Gallery from May 20–May 31. Drop offs are on Monday and Tuesday, May 9 and 10 from 10–4 pm in Grossman Gallery. Pick-ups are on Wednesday, June 1 from 10–5 pm. You may submit one or two pieces, with the understanding that, due to space limitations, it is not guaranteed that both will be included. Work must be ready for installation at drop off (framed, hanging hardware, etc.).
