Co-curated by students Chelsea Coon and Stephen St. Francis Decky this exhibition presents work by five Museum School artists whose highly distinct visions suggest the unlimited potential for new life forms and tap into our long history of invented beings. This annual juried exhibition features students from summer 2010, fall 2010 and spring 2011 Continuing Education courses and workshops.
Laila Rahman received a 2010–11 Fulbright Scholar award to pursue research and studio practice at SMFA. Exploring religion and myth within contemporary society, these new works on view are a culmination of this artistic exploration.
