Summer Vacation Redefined
This summer, spend a week living the life of a working artist at the SMFA. Our daytime, week-long intensive courses allow you to immerse yourself in art while you learn from superb faculty. Or, choose a course that's no less intensive, but fits your schedule—courses meet daytime or evenings for four, five or six weeks. Please review individual course descriptions for times and dates.

The Artists' Residence Hall (ARH) is open to summer program participants who are seeking convenient and safe housing. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advising
One-on-one advising with faculty and staff who will help you navigate the School's Continuing Education offerings and create paths of study based on your strengths and interests, as well as the School's interdisciplinary philosophy.

Artist Resource Center
The Artist's Resource Center, which offers career advising, job links, internships, professional-focus courses, community-partnership opportunities, and a wealth of online resources, such as artSource.

Discounts on Computer Products
Continuing Education students can purchase computer products for personal and/or educational use at special pricing through Apple's online Education Store.

Exhibition Opportunities
Continuing Education students may take part in a number of exhibiting opportunities at the School, including an annual exhibition of Continuing Education student work each summer. Click here to download the 2009-10 guidelines for award and exhibition opportunities.

Review Boards
Group critique of your work, known at the SMFA as a Review Board, is available to students who have utilized one-on-one advising and taken a minimum of four Continuing Education courses.
