In an emergency at the SMFA campus or any Tufts University location call 617-627-6911. This number is answered by trained dispatchers in our 24-hour Public Safety Communications Center.
In case of FIRE

To report a fire on the SMFA at Tufts campus call 9 1 1.
For non-emergency services, such as a past crime or a room lockout, dial 617-627-3030. The Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) has assigned police and security personnel to the SMFA at Tufts to provide police and public safety services.
We recommend that you program these numbers into your mobile phone so they’re available when needed.

Mental Health Emergencies

Contact emergency services through the Counseling and Mental Health Services front office.
5:00 PM - 9:00 AM
Give the dispatcher your name and the phone number at which you can be reached. The counselor-on-call will get back to you shortly thereafter.
Threat Assessment Concerns
If you become aware of a situation that you believe may pose a threat to the safety of the community or one of its members, we encourage you to contact Tufts Threat Assessment & Management. In the event of an emergency, always contact University Police first.
