 Matt Aaron Templeton (graphic design) earned his BFA from the Art Institute of Boston (00) and his MFA in Painting from Londons Slade School of Fine Art (03), where he was awarded the Adrian Carruthers Studio Scholarship. Templeton has been on several residencies including Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, Canada, and Vermont Studio Center in Johnston, Vt., and has worked with artists such as Bruce McLean and Jenny Holzer. He has taught art and design courses and given seminars privately and at several schools including Boston University, New England School of Art and Design, Rhode Island School of Art and Design, the Museum School, and the Slade School of Fine Art. His recent exhibitions include Definitively Provisional at the Whitechapel Gallery, London, and New Art 2005, at MPG Contemporary, Boston. His work, which currently includes artist books, drawings, and paintings, has been reviewed in publications such as Art Monthly, Foto File, and The Evening Standard.
