Emily Gephart is an art historian currently working on her Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the History, Theory and Criticism program; she holds a MA in Art History from Tufts University ('97), and a BA in Art History from Oberlin College, ('91). Her teaching experience has included art history courses at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (2005-present) and Massachusetts College of Art and Design, (2001-present). She has been a discussant at the College Art Association and published in Cabinet magazine; her current research concerns the influence of cubism on American painters in the early 20th century.
