Barbara Seidenath, born and educated in Germany. Trained as a goldsmith at the State School for Glass and Jewelry in Neugablonz, Germany. Upon graduation, guest student at SUNY New Paltz, USA and continued on to study with Professor Hermann Jnger at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany. Owner, designer, maker of G&S Jewelry from 1986-93. Started a family. Involved in the field of jewelry since 30 years. Exhibiting work in galleries and museums, nationally and internationally. Passionate about my students at SMFA and other institutions since 13 years. Living and working in Providence, RI since 1992.
