Kathy King (ceramics) received her BA from Connecticut College (90) and an MFA from U. of Florida (98). Formerly an associate professor at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, she has been teaching ceramics for the past ten years, most recently at the Office of the Arts at Harvard University and UMass Dartmouth. Her work has been featured in numerous publications such as Controversial Ceramics by Judith Schwartz, Sex Pots by Paul Mathieu and The Art of Contemporary American Pottery by Kevin A. Hulch. In addition to exhibiting her work both nationally and internationally, she currently sits on the board of directors of The Studio Potter.
