Michael Wilson (painting) holds a Diploma and a Fifth Year Certificate from the Museum School ('87 and '88), where he was awarded the Clarissa Bartlett Traveling Scholarship. He has lived and worked in Waltham since 1988, where he has participated in its artist community as Open Studios coordinator, president of Artists West Association and community outreach director. He has exhibited nationally and has been represented by galleries in Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, Portland, Maine, Santa Fe and Provincetown, MA. Wilson was co-owner and director of Oz Gallery in Provincetown 2002–2006. His work is represented in numerous private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Fidelity Investment Corporation and the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University.
