Georgie Friedman received her MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University ('08) and her BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz ('96). She has lived, worked and exhibited throughout the U.S. Recent awards and grants include: 2009 Critic's Pick New England Art Award, The Cincotti Prize in Video, Montague International Travel Grant & Barlet Travel Grant. Recent exhibitions include: The 2010 DeCordova Biennial, MA; The New Landscape, NY (09); H20: Film on Water, NH (09); Geyser, Boston CyberArts Festival (09); Subtidal Goals, CA (09) among others. Her current projects include photographic series and large-scale, sculptural, experiential video installations that examine our physical relationship to interior/exterior elements.
