Geoffrey Hewer-Candee earned a BFA from Tufts University and the School Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2009. He has worked as an in-house graphic designer for Green Education Foundation, 451 Marketing, the City of Medford, and the City of Cambridge. He has also worked with several freelance clients including New England Corporate Council Association, Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, Vendor Counsel, Project Sunshine BookBuddies, MassBike, and Groundwork Somerville. In addition, his work has been shown at the Boston CyberArts Festival, Eloquent Device, and A Wilde Exhibition.
Recently, Geoffrey's focus has been on self-publishing. His projects include a book of short stories, an artist's book about psychotherapy, and four children's books, which he also illustrated. In general, his work is humorous and at times absurd, however many of his most successful pieces have an undercurrent of futility or unease.
