Chelsey Wood received her BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2004 and her MFA from SMFA in 2011. She has exhibited locally at galleries including the C. Schlosberg Gallery in Beverly, MA, 808 Commonwealth Gallery in Boston and Huret and Spector Gallery in Boston. Awards received include the Blanche E. Coleman Award, the Dana Pond Award, the Springborn Fellowship and the Montague Travel Grant. Her work has been published in the Boston Globe, Preview magazine and Big Red and Shiny. In 2012 she will be appearing in New Amercian Painting #98 NE. Wood is currently a Post Graduate Teaching Fellow at SMFA.
