Helena Hsieh earned her BA in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (2004), her BFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute (2008) and her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University (2012). Her works explores the enigmatic and intimate moments from daily life. Hsieh's paintings have been featured in New American Paintings (April/May 2011) and shown nationally at the Huret Spector Gallery in Boston, MA; the Luggage Gallery in San Francisco, CA and Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA, among many others.
