Claire Beckett earned a BA in Anthropology at Kenyon College, and an MFA in Photography at Mass Art. Her photographs have been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the Wadsworth Atheneum, Carroll and Sons Gallery, Bernard Toale Gallery, and the University of Rhode Island, and in group exhibitions at Mass MoCA, the Chelsea Museum of Art, the Haggerty Museum, the Photographic Resource Center, Silver Eye Center, Fotodok (NL), and the Noorderlicht Festival (NL), among others. She is the recipient of an Artadia Award and a Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant, and has been artist-in-residence at Light Work. Claire is represented by Carroll and Sons Gallery, Boston.
