Joo Lee Kang received her BFA in Painting from Duksung Women's University, Rep. of Korea ('06), and her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston/Tufts University ('11). She is the recipient of numerous awards, including SMFA Travel Fellowship ('13), St. Botolph Club Artist Grant ('12), Massachusetts Cultural Council Award in Drawing ('12), and Dana Pond Award ('11). Her most recent major exhibition was at Gallery NAGA, Boston, where she is represented. Her wallpaper project has been installed at Tufts University Art Gallery as part of their permanent collection. She is currently scheduled to present an artist demonstration at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston ('13). She is also a part-time faculty at Seoul Digital University, Rep. of Korea.
