Patty Chang is well-known for her performative and video works. Her work has been exhibited nationwide and internationally at such institutions as the Guggenheim Museum, New York; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA; the Hamburg Kunstverein Hamburg, Germany and the Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2008 she was nominated for the Hugo Boss Prize and in 2009 was named the Guna S. Mundheim Fellow of Visual Arts at the American Academy in Berlin. Earlier this year, she was a resident at the Fonderie Darling in Montreal and is currently a resident at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, Ca.
