Erica H. Adams (painting) received a BFA and a MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University ('77, '87), and a Diploma and a Fifth Year Certificate from the Museum School ('77, '79). Since 2007, Adams has written a column for Fjoezzz quarterly, in the Netherlands, and online reviews for Berkshire Fine Arts and ArtsFuse. From 19972006, as contributing editor of "This Side Up!" quarterly, the Netherlands, Erica wrote a column on the arts. Exhibitions of digital works, photographs, paintings, sculptures, large scale collage, numerous websites and a virtual reality installation include: Boston CyberArts Festival; Independent Curators International, New York; Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Los Angeles; and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. In 2006, Adams curated "Residue, Reflections on Aging and Mortality?" at Gallery AA/B (Art Advisory/Boston). Twice a visiting artist at the Chiapas Photography Project in Mexico (2000, 2004) Adams was in residency at the Fourth International Workshop in Ryn, Poland (2000). Her catalogs include Acceptable Entertainment (ICI, New York) and Boston Now: Photography (ICA, Boston). Work by Adams is in public and private collections including The Polaroid Collection and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
