McDaniel has worked as a sculptor in the Boston area for the last twenty years. In addition to eighteen solo exhibitions, her work was included in "10 Artists, 10 Visions," DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, MA ('97); "Chesterwood Contemporary Sculpture," MA ('98, '93, '92); "Boston (in dialogue) Now," the Institute of Contemporary Art, MA ('94). Her work is in a number of collections including the Rose Art Museum, Brandeis University, MA; and the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA. She was the recipient of a Sculpture Fellowship from the New England Foundation for the Arts; Massachusetts Cultural Council; National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship; and she is included in "Contemporary American Women Sculptors," Oryx Press, AZ.
