Peter Madden (papermaking) was educated at Pratt Institute, Parson's School of Design, and the Massachusetts College of Art. Madden's one-of-a-kind, handmade books have been exhibited and collected by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; and the Center for Book Arts, New York. He is the recipient of an Artists' Foundation Fellowship, a St. Botolph Club Foundation Grant, and a Massachusetts Cultural Council award. A frequent panelist, juror, and lecturer, he also has hosted a three-part television show on book arts. Madden's work has been featured in more than a dozen publications on book arts.
