Erika Adams (printmaking) received a BA in both Art and Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz ('94), a MFA from the University of New Mexico ('04), and studied at the Tamarind Institute where she became a Master Printer ('01). Recent exhibitions include, "I have been missing you," Musket Studios, Somerville, MA ('10); "Collections as Evidence of Now," Zygote Gallery, Cleveland, OH ('10); "New Prints Winter 2010," International Print Center, New York, NY ('10); "The Stream of International Prints," Honik University, Korea ('09); "The Desire for Meaning in Phenomena," The Kitchenette, Phoenix, AZ ('08); and at Berea College, Berea KY ('08) Monotype Guild of New England ('08); "Big Stuff," University Art Museum, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM ('08); "Event Horizon," School at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA ('08); "Boston Printmakers" ('07); "International Flip Book Festival," Philadelphia, PA, "Little Cakes," New York, Reg Vardy Gallery, Sunderland, U.K. and Western Front Gallery, Vancouver, Canada ('06); "Coupling," Rosenberg Gallery, New York ('06); Erika has been an artist in residence at both the Hall Farm Center for the Arts, the Vermont Studio Center and the Franz Masereel Center in Belgium. She taught in North Carolina at the Penland School for Crafts the summer of 2010. She published Wrestle, a collaborative project with poet Nick Norwood ('07) and Draft, a book of stories and pictures ('09).
