Photography, Text and Image Arts. MFA in Photography, Visual Studies Workshop, State University of New York, Buffalo; BFA in Painting, Boston University School of Fine Arts. Blacklow's work is based in photography but is altered through the application of pastels and text. Exhibitions at Opsis Gallery, New York, and the Institute for Contemporary Art, Boston. Recipient of: grant from the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, Harvard University; New England Foundation for Arts/NEA Regional Fellowship for works on paper; and Massachusetts Artists Foundation Fellowship in Photography, among others. Author of New Dimensions in Photo Processes (Focal Press), fourth revised and expanded edition.
