Erica Daborn was born in the U.K. Following graduation from the Royal College of Art in London she worked and taught in Wales for eight years, moving in 1985 to California and in 1995 to Boston. She has exhibited in the U.K., Europe and the U.S. and is represented by the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA. She has received fellowships from the Mac Dowell Colony, the Djerassi Foundation and VCCA. She recently founded an artist retreat in Mexico with her husband, filmmaker Dennis Lanson. She has work in the collection of The British Museum.
