Giving Options

There are a number of ways to give to the Museum School: by making an unrestricted annual gift to the SMFA Fund, by joining SMFA Medici, or by investing in a particular area with a capital or endowment gift. You may do as many alumni, parents and friends of the SMFA have done and include SMFA in your estate plans. No matter the size, all gifts to the School help to strengthen the present and secure the future. All gifts are appreciated.

ANNUAL GIFTS
SMFA Fund
There is power in numbers and gifts of any size make a difference. Individually and cumulatively, contributions to the SMFA Fund support the School's vitally important programs. For example, a $10 gift buys a one-pound can of burnt sienna etching ink, a $25 gift provides a round-trip Tufts Shuttle ride for 25 students and a $100 gift pays for a student to access academic advising for one year. You can designate your gift to "where it is needed most," or to student scholarship, faculty support or technology.

SMFA Medici
Medici Group members have the exclusive opportunity to become an integral part of the Museum School community. With an annual contribution of $600 or more, you will receive invitations to a variety of events that provide behind-the-scenes access to notable SMFA faculty, and accomplished students and alumni. It is a fun group supporting a great cause!

Medici Scholarship Program
If you want a more directed philanthropic experience, the Medici Scholarship Program offers you the opportunity to support and follow individual students during their time at the SMFA. With an annual gift of $25,000 or more, you will have the unique opportunity to meet and witness the evolution of one or more students throughout their time at the Museum School.

CAPITAL GIFTS
Capital gifts and pledges are crucial to enhance our facilities and build our endowment. Facilities support the safe and creative work of our students and faculty and endowment gifts provide income in perpetuity for essential School programs such as scholarships, faculty salaries, visiting artists and studio and entrepreneurship programs.

PLANNED GIVING
There are many ways of structuring a gift to SMFA to meet your current and future financial and personal goals. If you are looking for guaranteed income for life, a tax deduction this year, retirement income for future years, a way to offer financial assistance to a relative, a way to provide tuition assistance to children or grandchildren, or the feeling that comes from making a significant charitable contribution, a planned gift can benefit you and SMFA.
