There are a number of ways to give back to the Museum School, whether it is an annual gift to the SMFA Fund, Medici Group, or Medici Scholarship Program, a larger capital gift or including the SMFA in your estate plans. No matter the size, all gifts to the School help to strengthen the present and secure the future.
ANNUAL GIFTS
SMFA Fund
There is power in numbers and gifts of any size make a difference. Individually and cumulatively, contributions to the SMFA Fund support the School's vitally important programs. For example, a $10 gift buys a one-pound can of burnt sienna etching ink, a $25 gift provides a round-trip Tufts Shuttle ride for 25 students, and a $100 gift pays for a student to access academic advising for one year.
Medici Group
Medici Group members have the exclusive opportunity to become an integral part of the Museum School community. With an annual contribution of $600 or more, you will receive invitations to a variety of events that provide behind-the-scenes access to notable SMFA faculty, and accomplished students and alumni.
Medici Scholarship Program
If you want a more directed philanthropic experience, the Medici Scholarship Program offers you the opportunity to support and follow an individual SMFA student during their time at the SMFA. With a three-year pledge of $5,000 or more, you will have the unique opportunity to witness the evolution of one or more students throughout their time at the Museum School.

CAPITAL GIFTS
Your support is crucial to enhance our facilities and build our endowment. Facilities projects include the improvement to the main building and the addition of a third floor to the Mission Hill building. Endowment gifts provide income in perpetuity for School essentials such as scholarships, faculty salaries, visiting artists and studio programs.
PLANNED GIVING
There are many ways of structuring a gift to the SMFA to meet your current and future financial and personal goals. If you are looking for guaranteed income for life, a tax deduction this year, retirement income for future years, a way to offer financial assistance to a relative, a way to provide tuition assistance to children or grandchildren, or the feeling that comes from making a significant charitable contribution, a planned gift can benefit you as well as the SMFA.
